NEW BOOK: The Modernized Sveshnikov

Hi folks!

I'm proud to inform you about my newest publication: The Modernized Sveshnikov!

For more than one year I have been working on this fascinating opening, which used to be my childhood's favorite and recently became part of my main Black repertoire again. I guess the fact that Magnus Carlsen used it has his main weapon with Black in his World Championship match with Fabiano Caruana, London 2018 certainly pushed me to analyze thoroughly this opening again.

There have been many publications on this topic in recent years, but I'm very happy to have discovered some new ideas based on some correspondence and computer games. Although in certain variations the lines go very deep (don't be discouraged, just enjoy the amazing lines!), throughout the book I have aimed to keep a natural balance between analyses and verbal explanations to make interesting for both newbies and experts of this opening. You will certainly not be disappointed by the incredibly amount of resources this opening has to offer!
