With my first round over, I'd like to share a few key points from some of the games. Before I do that, a word of appreciation to the other players in my group as there was no cheating and a decent level of play. Also, will put my group's table for reference:

White just put the knight on the rim, ignoring the threat to the pawn on b2. Can black just grab the pawn or is there more to it?

White just went g3, which shortly ended the game for him. How did black exploit the situation?

In this game, black has been cavalier with his kingside in the French. Can white highlight the error of black's ways?
Since black didn't accept the sacrifice, I didn't get a chance to show the main line. What was my plan if black took the bishop?
And finally, the last line of this sacrifice. What would've happened if black retreated with the king to g8?

Black already has a dominating attack, but I could've finished the game with a few moves. Unfortunately, I didn't see that option - and the game took a few extra days to finish. Will you see the beautiful sacrifice that black had missed?

My last move in the game below was 11. Be3 which seemingly loses a pawn. However, there was a nefarious plan if black took the bait. Can you find it? (Side point, the bait was not taken).

There are several ways to win here. What is the most straightforward way to grab a piece?

An easier one for a change. What's the easiest way for white to gain material?

White misplayed the entire middlegame, but black just gave me a chance to make a comeback; a chance I thankfully used. What was it?

Since I'm on the topic of self-criticism, let's pull out another example where I missed a tactic. Thankfully, my opponent didn't see it either - if he did, I might have lost my extra pawn and a chance to win the game. I just played a4-a3, thinking that the knight on b4 is well-entrenched. That was, however, a misconception. What did both of us miss?

I expect a much tougher battle in the next round, but there were interesting tactics here as well. If you got all the way here, I hope you found these examples useful.
