I should have done this before
I just realised how useful it is to analyse what logical moves my opponent can play if I play a particular move. It helped a lot in my match today (I'm in a chess team at my school). I don't remember all the moves of the game as it probably reached beyond 50 moves. I just remember that my opponent blundered and hanged his bishop. That paved the way for my victory :) And if you know NSWJCL ratings, he is rated 667 or something.
