• Forces Black's King Into a Tight Spot Where Black Has Almost No Chance Of Recovering

The first set of moves, a semi-popular start, 1..e4 d5, The Scandinavian Defense. The entire purpose of the Scandinavian Defense is to get Black's queen out early, but a lot of players don't like this defense as the Black queen can get easily attacked by white.
