Hi everybody, SPickwick here. Today I'm going to publish a rather fun blog. I'll post 10 different studies, related by some sort of theme. Thanks to NM Bruce Pandolifini for compiling these puzzles. Of course, thanks to the original composers as well, whom I cannot unfortunately name. Let's start!
The Queen Wins
In most studies, we don't see the queen winning against minor pieces or rooks. Of course, this is hardly accurate. The queen generally wins against 2 minor pieces/rooks, and we'll look at 5 examples of this.
