London Chess Classic
At the prestigious London Chess Classic 2025 tournament being held in London, Nodirbek Abdusattorov’s winning streak continues. Our compatriot defeated the experienced 54-year-old British grandmaster and national champion Michael Adams in Round 4, securing his third consecutive victory.
Abdusattorov began the competition very steadily:
— In Round 1, he drew against Gawain Maroroa Jones.
— In Round 2, he defeated the young talent Abhimanyu Mishra.
— In Round 3, he achieved a beautiful victory with high-level positional superiority over the Russian player Nikita Vitiugov.
As a result of this series of successes, Nodirbek had taken the lead in the tournament standings, and today’s triumph further strengthened his leading position.
