You get this achievement by changing the piece design in your theme to one of the 3D options.

Steps:

Go to Settings -> All Settings -> Board and Pieces
Select Pieces and choose one of the 3D options from the drop-down menu
Click on Save at the bottom
If it error change the settings from your phone,tab,etc
