Chess notation
Hi, guys, it's me shavendra today I am going to teach u something called chess notation!
Chess notion is pretty easy to learn. First, u need to learn what the pieces stand for. For an example king = K
Bishop= B
Knigt= N
Rook= R
Qeen= Q
King= K
And there is a symbol for check and checkmate etc.
Check =+
Check mate =#
Qeen side casteling =O-O-O
King side calteling =O-O
Takes =X
Promoting to a pice = =(Q) for a queen. The same for the other pieces
Always remember to write the letters in the capital. Ok we use chess notation to save games and sometimes find a pattern in our opponent's games.
I am going to write a short game in chess notation.
e4 e5
Nf3 Nf6
Nc3 Nc6
So, Ok that's all u need to learn about chess notation
Now to the Quiz
1. Play
e4 e5
Nf3 Nf6
Nc3 Nc6
2. Play
Nxc1 and then h7,h8=Q
3. Play
O-O
That's all from me See u in my next blog guy's... Send me a friend request
What time you should be online and when not to be online
I'm not forcing you so you don't need to comment saying " YOU DON'T NEED TO TELL US WHAT TO DO, GET LOST!!" or anything like that.
I also got all this info on some volunteers to classify the timings
Play chess - Any time but evening
Blog - Anytime ( Always have a second or third reader before publishing it. They can correct it if there are any mistakes )
Puzzles - Morning ( To get started ) ~ The GMs mostly do their morning puzzle rush, so follow them, don't you think? Mention it in the comments!
Read a blog - anytime
Comment on a blog - Before 10 pm. why? well, you can't read well because you are tired if you miss understood a sentence which is an actually good statement and you comment on it well...
Learn - That's for you to decide on
Make a puzzle - Afternoon
Teach - afternoon or even morning ( Evening is very dull )
