OCTOBER BLITZ & MEMES
Hello, my fellow Blitz and Meme Lovers, and welcome to the 10th edition of monthly Blitz & Memes. If you're a lover of solving complicated tactics taken from amateur online chess tournaments, while simultaneously looking at chess memes...Well, then you have come to the right place, because that's what I do.
As always these tactics were taken from the National Chess Society of Japans monthly online blitz tournament. The tourney consists of 7 rounds of 3 min 2 second increment games; and takes place on the 3rd Friday of every month.
The 38 player field was quite strong with, 9 players rated over 2000, a random Twitch Streamer, and 3 titled players including IM rnanjo, who holds the highest online rating in Japan.
And of course lets not forget the Memes....Hans/ Lawsuit/ Anal Beads controversy revitalized our Meme content and I'm really happy to share some of the funniest ones from the past month.
So without further ado lets get to the Blitz and Memes. Good luck trying to solve all the puzzles on the first try without looking at the Hint located below the positions. If you can, then you are certainly an incredible solver of puzzles taken from amateur online chess tournaments and worthy of much praise from family and friends.

WEAK SQUARES
Lets start with something easy...which would be my game of course. Black has played the Scandinavian (easy points), there are quite a few weaknesses in the position.

THAT FOUR LETTER WORD
Long time readers will recognize Shiki_chess, he (or she, I'm not certain) always seems to pull off a Brilliant move or two.

Last months winner, FM Gentle_Emperor shows us how to simplify like a boss.

SAC AFTER SAC
Backwardddpawns, proving that you don't need to be rated 2200 to play Brilliant moves.

MAGNETO ATTACK
We saved the Best for last, really sharp stuff from IM rnanjo.
And that was it, that was October Blitz and Memes. Congratulations to any of you, who were able to solve all 5 puzzles on the first try without looking at the Hints, you are truly a Great solver of tactics taken from online amateur tournaments, I salute you.
A special shout-out to the whole BlogChamps crew and to NatskiSubaru who streamed the tournament over at twitch.tv/Natsuk1_Suburu, go ahead and give him a follow if you enjoy your chess content in Korean...
As always, thanks for reading and feel free to share these memes and tactics with your friends down at the Library or Bar.
Cheers, SheldonOfOsaka.
