Graduation
I want to express my eternal gratitude to my parents and teachers, who stood by me during every phase of my journey, accompanied me in the process of achieving every milestone during my life, and without whose extended support, I would never h beenave able to stand where I stand now. I cherish my educational journey immensely. I recently graduated from high school with honours, receiving 17 certificates, including an award for first place in a national animation competition, as well as awards in robotics, engineering, and life skills—skills I believe will come in handy in future jobs.
My road hasn't always been easy. Struggling in eighth grade, I was being discouraged from even thinking of attending further education. I was diagnosed with dyslexia during this time, which was also the year the pandemic started. I had often been told that I could not learn effectively even before I got this diagnosis. But then I was given another try (having to redo my eightgrade year), and from that moment I have come quite a distance with proper support and resources for my dyslexia.
Throughout my high school years, I usually earned all As and participated in an assortment of clubs and teams, through which I was able to form bonds with like-minded persons and acquire new skills. After two years of dedicated practice, I have found growth in chess, which I had developed a serious passion for.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have stood by me on this journey. I am really looking forward to attending New Mexico Tech to pursue a bachelor's degree in materials engineering. Although adjusting to life in New Mexico has been a cultural transition, I recognise the beauty of this land and am gradually adapting to its people.
Thank you all for your continued encouragement and support. I look forward to what the future holds.
