Great escape

I am a beginner-level player and recently played this cat-and-mouse game with another player online. Both of us were similarly matched. A computer analysis of this game showed several inaccurate moves and a couple of blunders on my part. Nevertheless, I feel this is a good illustration for the power of a passed pawn.

I have not included the complete analysis here, but have posted appropriate comments on how I went about thinking during the actual play. I understood one important fact - the time constraint in the real game situation makes a player like me to make a lot of inaccurate moves.
