Chess isn't a simple game; it’s a battle of focus and strategy. When you first start playing, it’s easy to get caught up in looking for quick tricks or easy wins—but that's not the right approach. I did the same in my first few months.First you should learn some basic knowledge.Learn how the pieces move, understand opening principles, and be aware of common traps—but don't get too obsessed with them.Instead, focus on mastering the opening, middlegame, and endgame. Your first big goal should be to reach a 1000 Elo in both rapid and blitz. If you enjoy playing other variants of chess, that’s awesome, too! Stay focused on improving, and keep pushing yourself.
