Do you feel like you're getting checkmated because of some dumb pawn? Don't feel bad, I'm here to help. That dumb pawn is very significant. It contains the life of your King. If you are getting checkmated, it's because you need to slow down. These two words is what I tell all the people I play with---slow down. Chess is a game. Just a game is not so very important to win on time, it's important to win with skill, or otherwise, how are you going to improve, mentally?
