Signups are now open for our 3 round November League Qualifier and Tournament Series to begin on Monday, November 7.

New players can sign up for our 3 round League Qualifier. You must be a member of the Dan Heisman Learning Center and the Slow Chess League to be included. You don’t have to win a game to qualify. Just follow the rules and complete the tournament.

Qualified league players can choose from:

Traditional OTB Style

Open Swiss G/45+45

Open Swiss G/90+30

Winners of our Open Swiss this month earn invitations to the 2016 SCL League Championship

SCL Fair Play

Swiss 1-2 G/45+5 *NEW*

Swiss 1-2 G/45+45 Double – 2 games per week

Swiss 1-2 G/90+30 Double – 2 games per week

Swiss 1-2 G/25+10 Double B2B – 2 games played back-to-back each week, just one time to negotiate

What's the Difference?

Adding the 1-2 pairing option to swiss-style pairing yields closer rated pairings without sections or quads.

Double sections feature a game each with White and Black against the same opponent for a round. Always get fair colors.

Check out our G/25+10 B2B section. 2 games to play each week, but just one time to negotiate. Rapid play lets you get a game with both white and black each week. That's fair play.

Did you see the announcement for the 2016 Grand Prix? With a $50 prize, maybe you'd better sign up for more sections!

Also, winners of each month's Open sections will be invited to our 2016 Championship.

Need more games? Sign up now for our Weekly Events with 1-2 pairing including a brand new Chess960 section!
