The 2021 World Chess Championship
Hello friends!
This is me Snuffles with a blog about the 2021 World Chess Championship played between Magnus Carlsen and Ian Nepomniachtchi.
Here I will be going game-by game, showing you the games sometimes giving my views and hopefully you'll enjoy!
Game #1: 1/2 1/2
This match was somewhat quiet, with Nepo not playing in his usual aggressive style. Nepo had winning chances but he chose to play solidly instead of risking it against Magnus. It was the same for the first five games where both had some chances but chose not to risk it.
Game #2 : 1/2 1/2
Game #3 : 1/2 1/2
Game #4 : 1/2 1/2
Game #5: 1/2 1/2
Game #6: Magnus wins! This was a wonderful game by Magnus, squeezing Nepo like an Anaconda in a record 136 move game, the LONGEST game in the World Chess Championship history!
Game #11: Magnus wins the World Chess championship for the 4th time in a row! Nepo makes some little mistakes and Magnus snatches the victory happily.
MY VIEWS: I always supported Magnus to win, but not so badly. I think the 6th game was deciding. It was easy for Magnus the Endgame Master but Nepo never really recovered from it. Now Magnus is just one win away from Garry Kasparov!

Magnus- The Champion!
Bye all!
