Battle Vs Chess - Again

Back in March I blogged about the new Battle Vs Chess software which was due out in May.  The latest news is that the release has been put back until sometime in the autumn.

On the plus side there are some more screenshots available to whet the appetite (see below).

Battle Vs Chess is clearly an (unofficial) an update of the very popular BattleChess game from the late 80s/early 90s.  If you like some 3D animation with your chess then Battle Vs Chess might be for you.

The software will have the Fritz engine running under the hood, so it will be a pretty mean opponent whatever your strength!
