My best win at chess.com

After posting 2 blog entries about games I have lost, it's nice to be able to post about one that I won - and in quite nice fashion too, I think.

I was pretty pumped up for this win (see picture of me after a recent workout ) because, after spending 3 days thinking about a move (in a 5-day/move time limit game) I received a message entitled ZZZzzzz from my opponent after few moves into the game which read " Do you really need 5 days to make a move?"

Needless to say, if I wasn't sufficiently motivated to win already, I was after that kind of comment.  What followed was a quick and pretty victory which tasted very sweet indeed.

Lessons to take away from this game:

1. Don't neglect development and grab pawns in the opening

2. Don't send your opponent smart alec comments during the game!
