Need justice on this matter
Guys, I need support on this matter.
You may know about Anime Team club. The current owner is @crayon, who is almost never active on chess.com. He logs in maybe once every two months for a few days, then leaves again.
I was an admin in his club for more than eight months. From the very first day I was promoted, I stayed active and consistently did work in the club. For a long time, I was the only admin besides the owner. I checked the audits regularly - the owner was never there.
I really wanted the best for the club, but as an admin, my ability to help was limited. The chats were dying, and there were barely any events. I needed a position of higher power not only so I could add more features to the club, but also so I could promote some of my friends who I trust and who were committed to helping me as well.
So I made a voting announcement in Anime Team to elect a new owner. According to chess.com policy, that’s a fair way to transfer ownership if the current owner is inactive and enough members support it.
Over 100 people voted for me! BUT - crayon logs in after nearly two months of inactivity, deletes the announcement, demotes me, and bans me with no explanation. I messaged him asking why, and he never responded.
And now, guess what? He's left chess.com again - probably for months.
No one active is left to manage the club!
I actually put my time and effort into Crayon's club, and got nothing in return. He doesn't have time to be active for his own club and then proceeds to demote his only admin for no reason. Pathetic.
I also want to add - I asked crayon for promotions many times, but he would only agree if I gave him super admin in my own club. He’s inactive in his own club, yet expects control over mine just to promote me for the work I did in his club?? How, in any way is that fair?
Overall, the main thing that really annoys me is that a lot of people trust me and voted for me as the new owner. I don't know what to do at this point.
Could anyone support me on this matter? π
