What happens when intermediate players go against fundamental openings.

I know I am not a big chess player but still I am writing this blog to show you how intermediate players loose while trying to experiment with openings.
Here my opponent decides to play King's Gambit and is immediately punished for not knowing the proper lines.
Moral here is that in intermediate stages of chess, players should play strong fundamental openings rather than going for flashy gambits, gambits are good but they are risky and are like a double edged sword, you may go on to win if events turn out to be in your favor but what are the chances of that? so stick to fundamentals and keep chessing.

P.S. God bless you all, stay safe, stay healthy.

Hello mate,
This is SpeedyBoots57 and I am here to show you how beginners and intermediates play.
Why are my blogs different than other top player's blogs?
Ans:- Because I am an intermediate player myself and I witness intermediates and beginners play first hand, all the knowledge I share in my blogs is gained from my experience playing live games on daily basis against 800 - 1300 rated players. Moreover I don't share any deep complex stuff (Honestly I myself don't understand half of it) rather I share very simple superficial ideas which can be helpful to beginners and intermediates.
Also I respect everyone whether they are better than me or worse than me, my goal is to share knowledge and experience not to create mockery of anyone so I hope you take my blogs in a positive manner.
