The tournament was uncertain due to Cyclone Garance, but by the grace of God Jesus, it happened! Huge thanks to the organizers for making it possible and to everyone for their kindness. Despite the hot weather, I really enjoyed the event!

📊 Final Results:
➡️ Scored 4.5/7, ranked 10th out of 48
➡️ Gained 4 Elo (1680 → 1684)
➡️ Won a medal 🏅

🔎 Key Moments & Lessons:
⚡ In Rd 2, instead of 15.Rxf6? (unnecessary sac), 15.Ne4! was winning.

⚡ In Rd 5, I was better out of the opening vs eventual winner Miloud Mezouaghi (2027) but missed a key move. He later played a spectacular queen sac → windmill combo to win.

⚡ In Rd 6, I had a winning Rook endgame with a zugzwang idea (63...Rd3! instead of 63...Re3+?).

💡 Takeaway: My endgames need serious work, especially Rook & pawn endgames, as my level drops under heat, time pressure & fatigue (it was a double-round event).
