Transforming Advantages

Today I will be beginning a new series. Today we will be discussing Transforming Advantages.

A chess game goes through many phases and changes to the position many of us know the phases of the game's Opening, Middlegame, and Endgame. Every game with a strategy must have a good tactic vision. It doesn't matter how good a player is or how good a positional player is if he misses tactic opportunities even small tactics should not be missed unless it doesn't give you an advantage or does make your position better or you don't have a better idea. How do you Transform Advantages from phase or stage of a game to another or just basically how do you Transform Advantages?

There are 4 important rules or secrets to it.

1.Pawn structure

Switching position and tactical play there is an important thing called structure and most important as the Pawn Structure is important and stats throughout the game and does help players who attack by pawn storms and feigning players who like to play with a bit safety and have a strong pawns structure. Some players are in the middle who wait for a golden opportunity or just an oppertunity and just begun to attack like an unexpected one.

2.Weaknesses

If you can identify weakness in your position then that would be good for you and have time to fix it so when you attack the opponent can't counter-attack on your weakness. If you identify your opponent's weakness and think what he could do to make his weakness disappear or just too strong to attack then that could be your attack or your side attack. I have done this before against 1755 in OTB and crushed my opponent because I identified in time to attack.

3.Small Advantages

Another point is that small advantages which can lead to a big one. Sometimes even if you find a small advantage(s) it could be better for you and if you play a stronger player then you the small advantages can be a golden chance for you to have a good result. Finding small advantages might e hard but it can be really useful or in some cases a golden chance for a good result.

4.Trading Advantages

Another good point to remember. We all know a Bishop is better a Knight but is some position you might have a bad Bishop and the opponent might have a good knight now even if you have a bad bishop and Bishop is better then a knight you should trade and you will get a small and trading advantage.

Let's look at some positions form games that had few of those 4 important Transforming Advantages rules in play.
.

This position is Isolated Queen Pawn (IQP) and is White to move

White has a plan to control the d4 square and to exchange pieces to get to an endgame where black weakness is the Isolated Queen Pawn (IQP) and black will try t avoid exchanges and use the center squares which the pawn controls.  The idea to exchange the knight on c6 will be good IF black does Bxc6 therefor white can up more pressure on d4 but if he does bxc6 which means black gives up the Isolated Queen Pawn (IQP) and changing to a backward/hanging pawn.

In this position, white has the Bishop pair and Black is able to hold on to his position and in this position, it is hard to break blacks position if white succeeds in exchanging the Bishop for the knight the white has a winning endgame if he doesn't then it is hard to break blacks pawns structure.
