Compositions always make us think a lot. If we do find the solutions, it's after a very long thought.
Here are some compositions; tell me which one was the hardest in the comments.
Good luck!
Composition 1:
This one is a mate in three for white. It seems really easy at first but it isn't.
Composition 2 : White to move and win. Good luck!
Composition 3: White to move and win. It's quite obvious that white needs to promote a pawn to win but how can he do it ?
Composition 4:
Here white has an extra bishop but is in no position to stop both of black's pawns. Therefore, he would be very happy with a draw.
Hint: The answer is related to stalemate.
Composition 5: Here white obviously does not stand well. However, he is able to save half a point by forcing the opponent to stalemate him. Before trying to solve this one, try to imagine a plausible configuration of black's queen and bishop that would stalemate white.
