Tactics # 3

Chess are full of tactics, and tactics, even in life, have similarities with chess. This might seem a bit weird at first, but I'll illustrate it with an example. Imagine you're a marketing manager; your hole job is to sell your product. You will do everything to be able to achieve that goal. It's like in chess, imagine you have this position with white.

This position is clearly a draw; your rook is stuck in a8, and whenever your king goes to b6, to try to free the rook, then black will just do checks along the b-file.  Seeing this, there is only one pitfall left for black ; moving the king to the sixth rank and allowing a deadly rook check. However, after a deeper look, you might whisper to your opponent "Hey why don't you just bring your king to the queenside and eat my pawn ?"

Enough talking, here are the puzzles :

Puzzle 1 : In this position, find a mate in one for white :

Puzzle 2 :  Mate in one for white. It looks easy at first but I have to shamely admit that it took me two minutes to find it . Note that you can't play d8 = Q because of the c8-bishop's pin of the d7-pawn

Puzzle 3 : In this theoretical position of the Pirc, what does black have to play :
Puzzle 4 :The position looks a bit bad for white but thanks to a nice tactic, he can turn things around.
Puzzle 5 : Here white's position is completely crushing whatsoever, and there is a very nice way to end things.
Puzzle 6: This puzzle is from a rapid game of yours truly.
Puzzle 7: I tried to do a good mate in one puzzle, like real composers (don't worry, I'm terrible).
Puzzle 8: White's position looks desperate here but actually he can draw, thanks to a beautiful idea.
Puzzle 8 : This one is a mate in three.
Puzzle 9:
Puzzle 10: White to move and win
In puzzle 1, all moves are checkmate :
