Hi people.
I bet you've all heard Tarrasch's famous sentence : "Nobody ever won a game by resigning"
While there is some obvious truth in that quote, Tarrasch does have a point here: sometimes we resign in drawn or even won positions. The most clear and recent example in the famous Giri-Shankland game :
Today we'll be looking at tactics that save or win apparently lost positions ;
Here is a simple example:
It's hard to imagine the look on black's face when he realised this wasn't winning.
