Freestyle Chess

Freestyle chess (Fischer Random or Chess960) is a fun chess variant where the starting rank of all the pieces is shuffled. Different positions are chosen for each game. Because of this players cannot memorize any openings. While it is mostly played online major tournaments are held over the board in this type of variant. This has been the centre of many chess players like Vladimir Kramnik and Magnus Carlsen.
