Hello, everyone! I'm @TecDragoman, and I'm thrilled to share with you an exclusive interview with one of the most insightful chess bloggers on this platform, @AstroTheoretical_Physics. He is a master of both the board and blogging, and he has a lot of fascinating tips to share with us.

In this interview, we will talk about his passion for chess and blogging, how he combines them in his blog posts, what are his favorite openings and endgames, how he prepares for tournaments, and much more. So stay tuned for this amazing conversation with @AstroTheoretical_Physics

TecDragoman: Hello Astro. How are you today?

 AstroTheoretical_Physics: Hello. I am fine, I suppose?

TecDragoman: I wanted to interview you about your chess life and how blogging belongs to it

AstroTheoretical_Physics: Thanks for making me a part of this interview, excited to answer your questions. Appreciated.

TecDragoman: Nice. Okay, first question: Astro, what is chess making with you?

AstroTheoretical_Physics: Chess is more than a game for me. I started to play chess as a hobby during the pandemic, but now it's more than a hobby. I enjoy studying the master games (mainly the master games of the early 1900s), I enjoy reading fictional stories related to chess, I like to read historical articles related to chess and much more. I am not looking to touch the enormous chess heights, like the GM title or anything, I like to learn about chess, and play the royal game.

TecDragoman: Nice! How is blogging connected to your chess lifestyle?

AstroTheoretical_Physics: Blogging has become an ultimate part of my chess. I began blogging in October 2022 because I wanted to try it out. Slowly but surely, I started to enjoy writing about chess, and nowadays the main point of my blog revolves around chess players, games and events. Blogging is also a way to learn for me. To gather information and knowledge about the game.

TecDragoman: Are there any tips and tricks for new bloggers you would tell them? Or are they a work secret?

AstroTheoretical_Physics: The only main advice I would like to give is, just enjoy and do it for fun. There's no need to be stressed out thinking "oh God what will the readers say". Great things happen when you do them for fun! But if you actually need some tips, try to blog on intriguing topics. A topic that would make the people click on your blog. I will say topics such as biographies of chess players like magnus and Garry Kasparov, openings, puzzles are lame topics lol. These are the topics I see most new bloggers write on. Second, write smoothly and neatly. Focus on your editing. Make/generate a good thumbnail, not too complicated or messy, but simple and visually stunning. Give a strong intro to your blog. Make sure to insert some images or chess diagrams so that the readers don't have to face word walls.

TecDragoman: Can you give advice in making thumbnails? To be honest, I'm not good at them. And talking about biographies, openings and this stuff: can they also be interesting made?

AstroTheoretical_Physics: if you want to make blogs on chess players interesting, write about some unknown chess players who were incredibly good at the game. Or if you are blogging on people like magnus or kasparov, write about the unknown incidents about/of their life to make it interesting, Coming to thumbnails, I advice using canva, focus on color combinations, decide a theme, add some text or chess diagrams, and tada! Your thumbnail is ready.

TecDragoman: Thank you! Next question: How long did it took until chess.com notified you that you are top blogger? Did they even notified you? If yes, how?

AstroTheoretical_Physics: Surprisingly, it only took them 3-4 days lol. After filling up the form and applying for top blogger, I got a congratulatory message and a PM from colin (manager of written content) who also congratulated me and invited me to the official bloggers club because I wasn't accepting club invites.

TecDragoman: Thank you for your time. Is there something you still want to say?

AstroTheoretical_Physics: Umm no i suppose? Well, there's one thing! I founded a club for my fans! Here's the link: https://www.chess.com/club/astros-aerospace. Thank you for joining!

TecDragoman: Thank you very much for your answers and I wish you luck with everything you're going to do. See you!
