"Szansa Chess Open 2025" Warsaw Chess Tournament

On September 20th, Warsaw hosted the traditional annual tournament “Szansa Chess Open 2025,” in which I’ve taken part for the third year in a row.

This year, the tournament gathered 220 chess enthusiasts and professionals, representing federations from nine different countries: alongside Polish players, there were participants from Ukraine, India, Italy, Azerbaijan, France, Uzbekistan, South Korea, and Peru.

The absolute winners of the tournament were Grandmaster Igor Janik, FIDE Master Tymon Czernek, and Grandmaster Jakub Kosakowski — all representing the Polish federation.
