The Guide To Openings - King's Gambit

The King's Gambit is one of my favorite gambits. 

Now, there are 2 versions of it - King's Gambit Accepted or King's Gambit Declined.

Here is the Accepted version:

However, the game could look different if black didn't want to take the 'free' pawn on f4. Instead, they could play d6, protecting the e5 pawn.

My opinion is that when playing King's Gambit, you have a very powerful position. You can get creative and play a bunch of random moves from this position and see what you end up with!
