New Chess Bots!

Recently, Chess.com had added two new chess bots!

These new bots being FIDE World Champions contenders, Ian Nepomniachtchi & Ding Liren.

Meet the Bots!

Ian Nepomniachtchi is a Russian super-grandmaster and two-time World Championship challenger.

Ding Liren is a Chinese super-grandmaster, Candidates Tournament runner-up, and 2023 FIDE World Championship challenger.

Ian is rated at 2795 elo, while Ding is rated at 2788 elo.

Beating the Bots!

There are two main ways to beat the bots, either beating the bots on time or checkmating them.

Checkmating the bots is exactly as it sounds, but beating them on time does have some steps to it.

          1. Go to play

          2. Click on computer

           3. Select any of the new bot

          4. Go to custom settings

          5. Set time to 1 minute

          6. Click play and don't run out of time!
