Hello Everyone!

I usually never write posts, but the world chess championship only happens once in two years. If you have NOT been up to date with the FIDE World Chess Championship (Which is not likely), you will get lots of results on YouTube.

At this point, Magnus was already ahead by 3 points at 6.5 - 3.5, so it is quite obvious that Magnus Carlsen won.

The games were very interesting to watch. Both players played excellently in this championship.

Yesterday was thee 11th and last game of the championship. The game was a king's pawn opening. Carlsen won the game and therefore won the tournament, because if a score of 7.5 is reached, the winner is the one with 7.5 points or more.

It was quite disappointing that Nepo didn't win a single game. The initial games were draws, but the Magnus took the lead. It is very exciting to see the world championship.

I thank everyone who was involved in creating such a marvellous show for us. Who would you want the 2023 challenger to be?
