Chat GPT is becoming more and more popular and now it can annotate your games! just search up chat GPT and go in sign up and say "I would like you to annotate a chess game for me" it will provide more instructions and watch the magic unfold!

Pro's: Can annotate a game for free anywhere (as long as you are online). Can write essays and other things (but don't ask for advice)! Uses human language like Counterplay, symmetrical pawn structure, etc.

Con's: Sometimes has no idea what it's talking about.

Here is an example of It annotating my most recent rapid game:

Here is a brief annotation of the chess game you provided:

  1. e4 c5 2. c3 d6 3. d4 Nf6 4. Bd3 e6 5. f4 Nbd7 6. Nf3 Be7 7. e5 Nd5 8. O-O O-O: White plays the Sicilian Defense, a popular and aggressive opening that focuses on developing the pieces and controlling the center of the board. Black responds with a solid and symmetrical pawn structure, preparing to castle and develop their pieces.

  2. Na3 a6 10. Nc2 b5 11. a4 bxa4 12. Rxa4 Bb7 13. Bd2 Qb6 14. b4 cxb4 15. Nxb4 Nxb4 16. Rxb4 Qa7: White continues to develop their pieces and attacks Black's queenside pawns, while Black develops their pieces and challenges White's center. The position is roughly even, with both sides having a strong pawn center and control of some key squares.

  3. Qb1 Rfb8 18. Bxh7+ Kf8 19. Rb2 Bxf3 20. Rxf3 Rxb2 21. Qxb2 g6: White sacrifices a bishop for two pawns and an attack on the kingside, while Black captures the bishop and gets two rooks and an open file on the queenside. Black's position looks a bit more solid, but White's attack on the kingside is still a threat.

  4. Be3 Qb8 23. Qc2 Kg7 24. Rh3 Nf8 25. f5 Nxh7 26. f6+ Nxf6 27. exf6+ Bxf6 28. Bh6+ Kg8 29. Rg3 Bg7: White continues to push their attack on the kingside, while Black defends and tries to create counterplay on the queenside. Black's position looks a bit better, with a solid pawn structure and some activity for their pieces.

  5. Bf4 Qc7 31. h4 Bxd4+ 32. Kh2 Be5 33. Bxe5 dxe5 34. h5 e4 35. Qxe4 Ra7 36. hxg6 fxg6 37. Qxe6+ Kf8 38. Qf6+ Qf7 39. Rxg6 Qxf6 40. Rxf6+ Kg7 41. Rb6 a5 42. c4 a4 43. Rb4 a3 44. Ra4 a2 45.
