In this blog I will show you one of my personal favorite openings, the Alekhine-Chatard attack, made by the fourth chess world champion Alexander Alekhine. Let's go check it out.

 The Alekhine-Chatard attack comes from a French defense and it is the most attacking opening you can imagine. It is also known as the Alekhine-Chatard gambit. Let's look at some of the most popular lines:
