Ranking the first Mario bros game's enemies

13. Lakitu: The fact that the cloud guy has the guts from stopping people from doing insane Mario kart jumps are insane and then while your going through a perfect run in the original game he drops number 11 on your head and you lose all your progress. I just hate on him.

12. Cheep Cheep: Nothing personal with this little fishy, I just am not a fan of hid design. Isn't really a threat and is a big help in Mario Odyssey. So it's not really Cheep Cheep's fault that he landed here.

11. Spiny: This should have gone in twelve but I am being generous because the number 11 is this exact enemy that Lakitu drops. At least he isn't much of a threat, well, he is a threat to your Mario odyssey perfect speed run.

10. Buzzy Beetle: we are getting to the "I like but there are better characters" part of the list and this character has nothing to hate for. He is basically harmless unless you're dumb enough to run into him. So he kinda fits here.

9. Bullet bill. This guy is so annoying for timing kind of things. But honestly the design is amazing and the creature itself is a cool idea. Love it, but there is better. Still amazing.

8. blooper: This guy is just the hard mode of Mario like he crams up the area just so its impossible to complete. Still, the design is cool and it is an absolutely deadly weapon for MarioKart.

7. Piranha Plant: I don't have any hate on this guy, but he just falls short by a bit into making it into the top 5, I loved the musical number in Mario wonder but really he is a timing enemy in the original game. Coming up when you least expect it to.

6. Koopa Troopa: The only reason this guy is even remotely better than the Piranha Plant is that it holds the iconic "ba ba" which has been turned into so many memes over its lifespan. But the next one dominates because it is the...

5. Paratroopa: Basically just an upgraded version of the koopa. It can fly! This makes it an amazing timing enemy for the game and just a chill guy in general.

4. Goomba: You can't really hate on this guy since he definitely deserves at least one place in top 5. Too bad Paragoomba didn't appear in the first game because it would have made a massive impact on this list.

3. Bowser: He deserves this place for being the absolute main villain in all of Mario. Also the design is really cool. The capture in Mario odyssey is OP. There isn't really much extra to say about this guy.

2. Shy guy: The design is by far the second best design out of all of the enemies but the real reason I chose this guy is because he reminds me of me. Very, very shy. The only public stuff I do is online.

1. Lava Bubble: I don't care how much you hate this beauty of a beast but the design is so simple but cool. Absolutely and beautifully amazing. It just looks and is my favourite Mario enemy out of all the enemies.
