The Road Was Long...

Hello again. So, my previous blog entry stated about how I was going to start my journey, learn from mistakes and everything; well, I have made a lot more than I planned, but I'm okay with that. After all, everyone has to start somewhere. Plus it can only go up, right?

Anyways, I know what my main problem is - not slowing down my moves. I login, go to the game, and make a move after no more than a minute. Chess is more elegant than that, I knew this, I'm just impatient. I hope to work on that with time.

I don't know anything about "opening theory" and don't see myself learning it. I'm a casual player. But, I do plan on just going with the flow of the game and trying to make the best possible move that I can. I've noticed that my opening and endgames are weak, but my mid-game isn't too terrible. I mean, I make mistakes but they are time based.

Just wanted to post another blog and let you know of my progress and what I'm working on. Who knows? The more I play, I might even begin to *gasp* read books to help me out.

That is all, leave a comment if you wish - with pointers, tips, whatever.

Stay Classy,
