My Guide on How to Be Famous on Chess.com!!!
Hello welcome to my blog. In this blog I will be showing you how to be famous on chess.com using my own tips and tricks that I have learned on this site, so let's get right into it. The tips will be separated into two parts, what I Recommend and what I Don't Recommend.
What I Recommend
Be active on the site: You should be active on the site. Pretty self-explanatory
Write in forums, daily puzzle comments, and, club notes.
Write in other people's notes on their profile: This is a key step, if you write in someone's notes, they are more inclined to view your profile and write in your notes
If you are confused what notes are
Write blogs: If you write blogs and consistently you will get decent amounts of views. I recommended chess news if you are just starting out. And using thumbnail.ai like I do for the thumbnails.
Putting your friend link in the chats: Do not spam it but you can put your friend link in the live chat/notes of clubs or daily puzzle comments as well.
Participate in drama: If you see arguments brewing participate in them. It will get you lots of views. That is the unfortunate truth.
Play with streamers: Play with streamers, there may be viewers watching who would want to look at your profile.
Make a good bio: Make a decent bio, i do not recommended using those copy and paste words, because people will probably click off your bio.
Join popular clubs: Join popular clubs (Paladins of Chess, iChess) with over a 1,000 members. And join lots of clubs too.
Now here is what I Don't Recommend you do.
Spamming/Advertising your blogs or profile: Just don't do it, it can get you muted like I once did.
Getting trolls to make a forum about you (i.e.. Viroh): Getting trolls to make a forum about you in chess.com community. It will skyrocket your view count, though.
Spam your chess.com account in other platforms (i.e. Twitch): I learned the hard way of doing that and got a 14-day suspension on Twitch for doing that before.
Well, that is my tips and tricks on how to be famous on chess.com. Just note that it takes hard work and dedication to become famous on this platform and you will face ups and downs. But if I can do it, you can do it. I may have missed a few points so do leave a comment if I missed anything or if you enjoyed it!
