Openings are what defined chess itself. Without an opening, no interesting battle across the chessboard may occur. Any opening, good or bad, is followed by theory. So, how do openings work and what are the tactics in it?

Usually, it will take months, if not years of experience to fully master your openings, but right here, I can cover the main openings within ten minutes. It includes the tactics, the fundamentals, and the lines that stretch after the original opening moves.

King's Pawn Game

Although you have almost seen this in your everyday games, there is lots of theory behind.

This setup is less commonly seen, but deserves to be learned. The classic defense is a lot more commonly seen in higher levels.
Although this opening is rarely seen, it is worth learning, as it is easy to mess up.
The English is not as good compared to many other openings as the d4 square is not gained nor is the e4 square taken.
This opening is kind of rare, but at least some ideas are logical.
Yet another fianchetto opening, though this one typically follows a common idea.
