Round four of the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest saw another strong performance from Argentina's teams. The women’s team earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw against 8th-seed Germany, while the senior team dominated Bolivia.

In the senior match, Fernando Peralta, Diego Flores, and Tomás Sosa (now 4/4) all won their games, while Leandro Krysa drew, securing a 3.5-0.5 victory. This win brings the team to 6 points overall, with three wins and one loss.

In the women’s match, María Belén Sarquis delivered a key victory on the fourth board, while María José Campos fell to Elisabeth Paehtz.
