Ladies and Gentlemen, my fellow d4 players, since the start of Chess time, we have always been gifted with the slow, positional game, that always delays us losing till the middlegame. This pattern of blissfulness has been going on for centuries, but the people have advanced now. If we even breathe in the direction of d4, every opponent immediately spams Nf6. And after that we have to go through the painful ordeal of getting obliterated by the King's Indian. Fear not, loyal d4 players, because today you will learn how to destroy this and put this nuisance out of your sight for good.

What is the King's Indian

Onward the starting position

Here there are several positions black can play, but the most notable will be either c5 or e5. Lets take a look at if the play e5.

What happens if they play Nc6?
C5 variation
Key Points to Remember in case you meet a novel variation
Just one thing to remember, there are a TON of variations surrounding this defense, but you have to memorize some key points
1- Memorize the Starting Move Order
What I shared with you is basically the starting move order for white. Memorize it.
2- Make them work before playing d5
Always make them play nc6 before pushing d5.
3- And please dont play the exchange variation. Just dont.
So basically that's what you need to do against this defense, attack, take up queenside space, and deflect attacks on the kingside. Thanks for tuning in today, and tune in next time for another blog!
