But, I decided to make a series because I got the most views and most support. In this blog, I will be taking a look at some of the tricker positions. I think you will learn a lot after reading this blog!
Knight endings:
ok first I will give you a mind blowing 🤯 endgame
The reason why this was a draw is because the king and the knight are on the same color. But what if the knight and the king are on a different color? Let’s find out!
The problem we had when the king and the knight was on the same color is that we were not able to cover the square where the king planed to go(either f1, or f2 in that case).
Next, I will teach you what I like to call it, the 4 square!
What if we did not follow the rule?
Do you see how this is important?
checkmates
I think most of you know how to latter mate and how to mate with a queen so let us see how it mate with a rook, mating with two bishops and bishop vs knight!
So that was the box technique! Now lets look at the other technique.
So that was how to do the rook mate! Let’s learn how to do the two bishops mate.
what we did:
1. Developed our bishops
2. Forced the king back with this key formation
3. Brought the king close to the corner
4. Forced our opponent’s king to the corner
5. Made a waiting move
6. Checkmated!
Now let’s learn how to checkmate with a bishop and knight!
Now lets take a look at what if the opponent does another defense.
