DrLupo said to pay 250k after cheating(Crazy situation)

As you might already know, there was a big drama regarding DrLupo cheating in Pogchamps6. He cheated against Wolfey(1200 chess.com and a content creator)in one of the rounds. He first said” Having the main stream up on my left monitor over the course of the day today to watch other games led to me getting information I shouldn’t have got.” Sorry some of the parts are cut off. On the 2nd last line, is think. On the 5th last line is day.

And then this came:

This makes sense but what you don’t know yet is what method he cheated. He wasn’t reading chat moves. He was reading the top engine line on his left monitor. He was using lichess. Here are the games he cheated:

The first game is much more fishy than the second one, but in both games he was cheating.  After a couple of days this came out.

This is a good gesture that he admits he cheated and apologized. He did another good gesture too.

This is one of the ways you can clean up things when this kind of thing happens. This will stay with him forever but at least there is a positive side.

Conclusion:

Cheating is very bad and is surprisingly easy to catch. You should never cheat because you will get caught easily. If you do something like this, you should admit what you did first. You shouldn’t lie again when you already did something bad. Beginners don’t realize how easy it is to catch cheaters.
