Mate in 8
You ever wonder, 'How do I win a chess game quickly?'. Well if you did, GM Levy Rozman has an idea for you.
As you read above, yes. This Blog will help you to Check & Mate in 8 Moves. Anyway, let's get to the main idea!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First, White moves their e2 Pawn to e4. And for this to work, Black will move their c7 Pawn to c6, entering the 'Caro-Kann Defense. The following diagram shows how:
We simply move our d2 pawn to d4, controlling the center. Then, Black moves their d7 pawn to d5, threatening to attack the pawn on e4. Then White moves their e4 pawn to e5, also entering the 'Caro-Kann Defence: Advance Variation'. The following diagram shows it:
Caro-Kann Defence - Advance Variation
Once this is done, Black's Light-Square bishop goes Bf5, attacking White's Pawn on c2. Then White moves its h2 Pawn to h4, entering the 'Caro-Kann Defence - Advance, Tal Variation'. Like the one shown below:
Caro-Kann Defence - Advance, Tal Variation
After this, Black moves their h7 pawn to h5, blocking White's h4 Pawn. Little do they know what's gonna happen next.
After this, we also move our Light-Squared Bishop to g5, attacking Black's Pawn on e7. Then Black plays Nd7, threatening to attack White's e5 Pawn. White gives their Light-Squared Bishop to Trade with Black's Light-Squared Bishop. Here are the positions of the game we are in now:
Trade & what happened due to it
The Final - Mate in 8
If you want to avoid this, here is what you can do:
What you can do [Just an example, multiple choices available]
In this position, if you are controlling the black pieces, and you don't want the Checkmate to happen, just don't trade your Light-Squares Bishops. I've checked on it and once you trade, White will have a winning position and can Checkmate you.
