What Are Chess.com Points?
Many of you may be wondering, what are the points up there on mine and others profile?
Here are the 2 categories we will look at:
1. What are points?
2. How do I get them?
What Are Points?
Points basically show you and others who look at you profile how active you are in the chess.com community. It doesn't matter that much though how many points you have though because a person may have 10,000 points but their rating could be 100 compared to a guy with 1 point and a rating of 1500. The things that points do do for you though is they get you a few achievements and they will help you be more popular on chess.com.
How Do I Get Them?
Now you may be wondering what do I do to get points? First of all, you have to confirm your account (most of your accounts are probably confirmed already). Next, do anything in the list below to get a point:
1. Comment on daily puzzles. They are one of the best ways to get points.
2. Post news or write a note in your chess club
3. Make a note in one of your friends profile.
4. Blog
5. Comment on a blog or article you read.
6. You will get a point for commenting or posting anything public.
Note: You only get 1 point for anything you post. There is no way to get more than 1.
