Navigating life thru Chess
21,377 games of chess played, and what have I learned so far?
- That stressing to get things done is a sure way to end up forced to do it all over again
- That knowing what to do means nothing if we do it without focus and consciousness
- That impatience with other people that I regard inferior in one area, will lead to them besting me in that very same area
- That the best way to improve is to maximize fun in order to allow maximized failure ( to recover from later on )
I've been playing for almost 3 years now and I keep finding myself in this wonderful baffling situation of ave seeing how this simplistic logical board game so clearly mirrors my person in a ruthless honesty that helps me see the changes I want to make in my life.
Thank you for that, Chess. You're a real pal <3
I hope to write more future blogs as I navigate onward through life by progressing thru Chess. I hope you, reader, will join me in this endeavor, and that you wont hesitate to share your own insights in a comment.
