My Favorite Chess Openings So Far

Openings are one of the most interesting parts of chess for me. Even though I’m still learning, I enjoy trying different openings and seeing how the game develops.

As White, I often start with 1.e4 because it leads to open positions and active play. As Black, I like playing solid setups and focusing on development rather than memorizing too much theory.

I know that understanding ideas is more important than memorizing moves, so I’m trying to learn the basic plans behind each opening.
