Moscow to Paris on Horseback
Hello Viewers!!
Today I will not advertise my blogs as I have another important position to discuss!
Before I go into the details, I would like you to know that the link for my blogs and the title itself has changed! Now I am publishing for this weird non-existing company: The Lolz Publishers. Secondly, this is my link.
Now I move forward to the real puzzle. In case you haven't seen it before, I will present the legend of this weird map:
I know it looks a bit weird, but you need to read the legend first:
Legend:
a} Kb1 = Napoleon
b} Kh2 = Tsar Alexander I
c} Qh1 = Field-Marshall Mikhail Kutuzov, who is known to be very cautious
d} Ne2/Nf1 = Cossacks
e} b1-square = Moscow
f} h8-square = Paris
g} h1-a8 diagonal = Berezina River
Note:
A modern flight from Moscow to Paris would take approximately 7 hours.
Now that you have read the legend, I would like you to solve the puzzle. The goal is to force Napoleon back to Paris.
Note II:
a] If you make it until move 5, remember that the Field-Marshall is too cautious and will not deliver 6.Qa8#
b] If you make it to the end, play Kg2# instead of Kg3#. They are same, but I used Kg2#.
Very nice morality tale, although I think that the made-up cautiousness of Field-Marshall Mikhail Kutuzov is politically founded.
Thanks for reading and I hope to get a lot of views and comments with this one!
