USCF on chess.com

The US Chess Federation has joined chess.com. Obviously lots of our members have been here for years. But now we're officially here as an organization. Both chess.com and the USCF are working to expand interest and participation in chess at all levels and in every age group across the country.
The US Chess Federation is the official, not-for-profit US membership organization for chess players and chess supporters of all ages and strengths, from beginners to Grandmasters. The USCF represents the United States in the World Chess Federation (FIDE), linking US members to chess players around the world. Founded in 1939, the USCF has over 80,000 members and 2,000+ affiliated chess clubs and organizations.
If you want to play in USCF sanctioned over the board and correspondence tournaments and become a USCF rated player, you can join the USCF by visiting www.uschess.org. You can check out Chess Life Online which is free. And Premium memberships include Chess Life magazine, the world's most read chess publication.
Regular updates here on our chess.com blog will keep you up to date on many of the exciting things happening in chess in the United States. We look forward to keeping in touch.
