My Football Years
Hello, I am back. I was only gone for 4 days, but still it has been some time. I am putting this blog out so that you guys have something to read before the final recap and maybe even a quad night recap. This will also be the first blog that doesn't mention chess at all, I will be making more of these type of blogs. This blog may also be short.
I played football at my local YMCA for four seasons (maybe 3, don't remember exactly) and I don't quite remember the first season. But, the most iconic play did come from that season. I remember it vividly, it was around a minute long and I scored a touchdown on a trick play? I don't remember but that was my only touchdown that season.
I don't remember my second season at all (insert vine boom noise). Just kidding. I remember one game, which we lost? Won? I don't remember, My memory is failing me right now. I do remember the score being 40-36 for some unknown reason. We were actually winning with 11 seconds left, and then fumbled the game away. Not the football term, just in general. We allowed a deep pass down the field, leading them to win the game. It also could've been the opposite, since I can't remember if we lost or won, but I'm pretty sure we lost.
My 3rd season we went 3-2. I collected every jersey from every season, they are still in my room today. In the final game, we got obliterated 48-12. Don't ask how I remember the score. That's the only thing I can recall, But I promise you the 4th season will be good.
I'm pretty sure this was our second game after winning 28-16? Things didn't go very well. Not in the game cause we won 19-10, but for me and my other teammate. I don't think I should say this publicly, cause it wasn't very pleasant for me and probably for my audience either so I won't say anything. I was out basically from the first drive of the game. I didn't go to the third game, since I went to Tunnelvision, which actually ended up being good. My team did win the game. Moving on to the next game, which was probably my best, I had a touchdown to start the game then one to put the game away. I must have felt so tough in that moment. We won 43-37.
This next game was very funny, since the other team thought they won even though they didn't. I had a pick six in this game that eventually secured us the victory 26-19. They thought they won, they still live thinking that they did. Little do they know...
The final game soon arrived. It was a matchup of undefeateds. This was basically the championship. They scored first but we scored back. Going into halftime it was 8-8. They scored in the 4th quarter. It looked hopeless. Until we got a interception and tied the game! But, if everything plays perfectly, great football will end in a tie. And that's what happened. The final score was 16-16. I don't what happened the following week since I was at July's Tunnelvision.
