Introduction to chess pieces for beginners

For beginners, this is an introduction to chess pieces.Lets start with the names of pieces.

The main,tallest piece is the king.

The second tallest piece is the queen.It is the most powerful.

Then there are bishops to the sides of the king and queen.

Next to the bishops are the knights.

Last but not the least,next to the knights are the rooks.

Next,we move on to movements

The king can only move one step diagonally,straight,sideways or behind.

The queen can move as many steps diagonally,sideways,forward or behind as it wants.

The bishops can only move in the diagonal of the colour they start in.

The knight can jump over other pieces.It can move two steps towards any direction

(other than diagonally) an then one step towards any side.

The rook can move only in straight lines(excluding diagonals).
