What to do when You're Losing. This is going to be the first in a two part series. This is the first one with the rules and the second one will be puzzles. Here is something to remember when you think about resigning.

" No one ever won a game by resigning "

                                                         -Savielly Tartakower

I really like that quote It is super true and everyone should think about that.

1. Keep as many pieces on the board as possible.

Just like the rule that says, Trade pieces when your ahead this rules is the mirror image of that.

2. Try to keep on the offensive

When you do that your opponent will have less time to attack you.

3. Make the position confusing. Your opponent may make a mistake.

All of us are human and make mistakes. Or they could time out.

4. Try for some stalemate tricks.

There are thousands of these and everyone has fallen for this at one time or another

5.Break some rules.

Go out there and be forceful. You should break the rules but don't do it too much.

6. Keep confident and don't get discouraged.

Motivation is often a lot of playing chess.

If you remember all these rules you will get better at chess.

Thanks for reading and look for Part 2 later.

                                Bye
