Unlocking Achievements: "TV Guide", "Couch Potato" and "TV Junkie"

All of "TV Guide", "Couch Potato" and "TV Junkie" achievements are related to watching ChessTV Live Show and tracking the Watch Time.

Requirements:

TV Guide: Watching FIRST ChessTV show!

Couch Potato: Watching EIGHT hours of ChessTV!

TV Junkie: Watching 24 hours of ChessTV!

Enjoying the Live broadcast of ChessTV Shows for the first time should unlocks the TV Guide achievement. After the broadcast ends, staying on the ChessTV page or on the screen (app) for a while could help to trigger the unlock. This is helpful if the just watching doesn't unlock instantly.

Accumulating EIGHT hours of watch time on ChessTV unlocks the Couch Potato achievement. Enjoying Live broadcast (streaming) is perfect to do the job. After ending each shows, staying on the page for a while will ensure the watched time is registered by the system. However unlocking could be delayed just after enjoying multiple live shows that counts total of eight hours. Considering this, trying few more hours on other platforms like web or app may help. Acquiring total eight hours of watch time seems hard for some people, but one or two hours a day can unlock the achievement in around a week or less.

A 24 hours of watch time is a LONG TIME for not-streaming-viewer type people. However, if interested, a few hours of watching each day should unlock the TV Junkie achievement in less than a month. As with the other achievements, being willing to spend few more hours on the same or other platforms (web or app) can help in case there are any delays in it unlocking. Also staying a while on the ChessTV page after the end of the watched Live show may help the system to register the time.

ChessTV streamers are nice and cool, their personalities and contents are pretty interesting and enjoyable. Watching a few will certainly trigger the interest to come back.
